Laara WilliamSen: SOMETHING IN THE WOODS
SOMETHING IN THE WOODS – Original oils 24 x 36 inches, 2004
In 2004 I lived with my son, JP, in a wonderful home overlooking the ocean in West Beach, White Rock, B.C., Canada. The view was totally inspiring and relaxing. This helped me to recall many childhood memories. Something in the Trees was intended to depict a mysterious light shining through bare trees like a promise. I feel this today when I see light moving through the trees of the park that I walk in. I hope the viewers enjoy the wonder of nature as they look at this painting.
